Responsibilities
Manage the interconnection process from application through PTO for utility-scale and large C&I solar projects
Serve as the primary liaison with utilities, ISOs/RTOs (CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, MISO, SPP, NYISO, etc.), and regulatory bodies
Prepare, submit, and track interconnection applications, studies, and agreements
Coordinate feasibility, system impact, and facilities studies with utilities and consultants
Manage interconnection schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables
Review interconnection study results and support mitigation strategies for upgrade requirements
Coordinate with engineering teams on interconnection design, protection schemes, and relay settings
Support negotiation and execution of interconnection agreements and LGIAs
Track interconnection costs, deposits, and upgrade budgets
Ensure compliance with FERC, NERC, and applicable utility interconnection standards
Support construction, commissioning, and energization activities related to grid interconnection
Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and leadership
Qualification
Required
Experience managing the interconnection process from application through PTO for utility-scale and large C&I solar projects
Ability to serve as the primary liaison with utilities, ISOs/RTOs (CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, MISO, SPP, NYISO, etc.), and regulatory bodies
Experience preparing, submitting, and tracking interconnection applications, studies, and agreements
Ability to coordinate feasibility, system impact, and facilities studies with utilities and consultants
