Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including acquisition, deployment, tracking, and disposal of hardware and software
Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement, ensuring assets are effectively utilized and replaced as needed
Ensure all IT assets comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and licensing agreements
Monitor the cost of IT assets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Monitor IT asset management policies and procedures
May generate and present regular reports on asset status, usage, and performance to stakeholders
May coordinate with vendors and service providers for the procurement and maintenance of IT assets
Provide guidance and training to staff on proper asset management practices and procedures
Contribute to selection and management of personnel, including timely completion of HR and performance management processes to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
4 years of experience in IT asset management or a related role
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) are a plus
