Akkodis is seeking a Desk Side Engineer for a Contract with a client in Geismar, LA. The role involves managing device deployments, providing advanced troubleshooting support for Windows 11 and O365 applications, and delivering high-level support to VIPs and executives.

Responsibilities

Manage laptop/desktop deployment, imaging, configuration, and software distribution using SCCM, Intune, and enterprise imaging standards
Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows 11, O365 applications, Teams, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and end‑user software issues
Deliver VIP/executive-level white‑glove support, resolving hardware and application issues with high professionalism
Perform hands‑on hardware support including Dell/Surface devices, docks, monitors, peripherals, along with basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, patching)
Support data center activities such as rack/stack, cabling, device movement, and asset handling as needed
Maintain strong ITSM discipline by updating, documenting, and closing tickets (Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge Management) and contributing to runbooks and SOPs

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
6–8 years of hands-on experience in desk-side/end-user support roles
Strong proficiency in Windows 11 administration, device imaging, and deployment using SCCM/Intune
Proven ability to deliver VIP/Executive-level white-glove support and resolve complex hardware/software issues
