Responsibilities
Lead development of React-based features for core upload/download and adjacent Home web experiences
Drive the evolution of our frontend architecture toward modern, scalable design systems with a focus on performance and accessibility
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate customer requests into clear requirements and iterative roadmaps
Own complex projects from design to launch, including testing, instrumentation, and rollouts
Contribute to frontend architecture, coding standards, and reusable UI components
Partner with backend engineers to define APIs and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
Collaborate across time zones with a partner engineering team in Poland to coordinate on shared features and architectural decisions
Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development, improve code quality, and push our architecture forward — while applying the engineering judgment to know when it helps and when it doesn't
Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience building production web applications
Strong product mindset with experience partnering with PM and Design to ship customer-impacting features
Experience owning complex projects end-to-end, including testing, observability, and phased rollouts
Proven track record evolving frontend architectures and adopting modern design systems at scale
Curiosity about AI-assisted development workflows and a pragmatic approach to integrating them into everyday engineering
Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones
Familiarity with CI/CD, release processes, and on-call support for web applications
Bachelors or above degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript
Clear, inclusive communicator who values collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement
Experience with AI-assisted developer tools
Preferred
Exposure to backend services and API design
Experience with performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
