Responsibilities
Managing health and safety - Maintain safe work environment, constantly strive to improve 5S and safety
Improving quality through standardization, updating/improving work instructions, process inspection, and confirmation of daily quality checks
Human resource development of Leaders & Associates through hands-on training
Management/improvement of production hours and line stop times
Improvement of machine uptime through TPM activities
Promoting kaizen activity - Constantly identifying and implementing improvements (safety, quality, cost, and delivery)
Creating a teamwork atmosphere through excellent communication and respect for people
Visualization of daily management KPI's to find and drive opportunities for improvement
Daily management - Confirm countermeasures for defects/problems, production management, and manage project schedules
Lead problem solving activity as necessary
Function as subject matter expert (SME) for area of responsibility
Qualification
Required
Results-driven, able to identify problem/improvement opportunities through the use of visual management tools, such as weak point management, pareto diagrams, and other TPS tools
Exceptional people skills - ability to motivate and inspire
Subject matter expert in relevant area of responsibility
3+ years of Leadership experience (or comparable experience) in a high production, fast-paced manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
Minimum High School or GED diploma
