They are seeking a Pricing Intern to assist the Strategic Pricing Manager by analyzing and making recommendations related to pricing strategies to enhance profitability across the division.

Responsibilities
Monitors and helps keep division focused on corporate strategic pricing initiatives. Assists with quarterly standard work
Provides management with reports which allows management to effectively respond to changing economic conditions and market changes
Assists with the creation of PowerBI dashboards and analytics to drive efficient decision making
Performs ongoing measurements and reporting on pricing effectiveness
Works with IT staff in design and implementation of systems and reporting improvements for measuring and monitoring pricing effectiveness and efficiency
Assists in analyzing division product markets determining the ceiling and floor prices of products
Evaluates cause and effect with pricing, volume, cost, competition, distribution and segmentation
Assists divisions in determining appropriate list prices, standard discounts and rebates and managing any restructuring, updating, communication and publication of price increases
Qualification
Required
Pursuing BA/BS in Economics, Finance, or other Business discipline
Facilitate cross functional meetings and communication
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent PC skills with proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Must be able to maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping pricing information confidential
Preferred
Project management skills a plus
General understanding of manufacturing processes, practices and cost accounting
