Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions; these application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies
May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource
Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations
May have responsibility for a project
Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application
Routine accountability for technical knowledge and capabilities
Work under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants
Qualification
Required
7-8 years of experience
Knowledge of object-oriented design and architecture / SOLID
Strong programming/development skills in JAVA, ORACLE, PL/SQL, J2EE
Experience working with source control
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience designing and executing test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
