Part-time CREU Program Coordinator (0.5 FTE)
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Part-time CREU Program Coordinator to manage the Cancer Research Experience for Undergraduates (CREU) Fellowship Program. The coordinator will oversee program logistics, faculty collaboration, and student engagement to foster interest in cancer-related careers among undergraduates.

Responsibilities
Maintain program website and databases, including applications
Organize and manage competitive review processes with faculty reviewers
Compile program metrics and analyze feedback surveys
Collaborate with CU Evaluation Center on evaluation plans
Recruit and coordinate faculty for lectures, workshops, and mentoring roundtables
Organize biotech company visits, networking events, and the annual Poster Session
Develop processes and marketing strategies to boost applications
Recruit mentors, manage profiles, and match students with mentors
Serve as main contact for applicants/mentors and advise students throughout the program
Coordinate peer mentors from graduate and medical schools
Assist with grant reports, funding applications, and program accounts
Submit progress/expenditure reports to sponsors and manage donor funding
Process honorarium payments for external lecturers
Partner with HR on hiring paperwork, background checks, payroll, and building access
Coordinate travel and housing for out‑of‑state students
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
One (1) year of experience coordinating educational programs in an academic institution
Preferred
Experience planning large events
Experience working with CU Concur Travel & Expense System
Experience with CU EMS Scheduling system
Experience with CU Marketplace system
