Responsibilities
Process payrolls for all employees (Hourly & Salary) in accordance with company policies and Federal, State, and Local regulations
Review and verify timecards, attendance records, and other relevant data
Maintain accurate employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, changes in pay rates, benefits, and deductions
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
Submit and monitor payroll-related reports, including tax filings, garnishments, and benefits deductions
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
Collaborate with People & Culture and Finance to support audits and reporting requirements
Stay updated on payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred
Knowledge of benefits administration and HRIS systems preferred
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role
Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred
Knowledge of benefits administration and HRIS systems preferred
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
