Responsibilities

Delivering on technical work
Teaming with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external to NNL)
Work planning for cognizant efforts
Occasional work travel between sites, to EB, and to Newport News for working meetings is required

Required

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Currently a Senior Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company
All candidates must be U.S. citizens
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707

Preferred

Experience with I&C system design
Experience with submarine power system design
Experience with power electronics/PCMs
Demonstrated ability to communicate with Naval Reactors verbally or in written format
Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders across multiple organizations and locations
