Responsibilities
Collaborating with business analysts and project managers to gather requirements and design technical solutions
Creating and executing test plans to ensure application functionality and quality
Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely and efficient manner
Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest process improvements or new solutions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience writing, testing, and debugging COBOL programs using established coding standards and best practices
5+ years of experience developing and maintaining JCL scripts to manage batch processing and job scheduling
5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining DB2 databases to support application data needs
5+ years of experience writing and maintaining CICS transaction programs to provide online access to mainframe applications
Preferred
Should possess good knowledge on CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, MQ and JCL
Good CICS System knowledge
Good understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing process
Should be familiar with DB2 tools, File-Aid, scheduler and debugger tools
Good communication and ability to interact with Partners
General knowledge in core Java and Front-end Technologies (Angular) is plus
Endeavor Software Manager migration tool/process
SFTP/AWXAY Secure File transfer knowledge
Ability to work independently and within a team structure
