Develop Scala/Java applications running in an AWS environment

Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and be able to describe their experience in details and explain their thought process in how they solve certain problems
Looking for strong senior backend Scala/Java developer preferably with AWS Cloud experience
A coding exercise is required as part of the interview process
Must be willing to work on W2
Must be willing to work onsite Urbandale, IA or willing to relocate, work onsite from day 1 on own expenses
5+ years hands-on experience with Java/Scala
Profound insight of Scala/Java Internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Concurrency, Futures, Multithreading.)
Building low-latency & high volume, distributed, scalable and reliable backend systems
RESTFul APIs
Preferred
