Entry, Mid LevelAlpha Consulting Corp. is seeking a Computer Hardware / Server Test Engineer with a strong background in server and computer hardware. The role involves setting up test environments, conducting thermal and power performance tests, and debugging server nodes.

Responsibilities
Test nodes and Environment Setup:
Power, Network connections over server nodes
Install OS and firmware onto server nodes and make configurations as needed
Verify test environment via remote connections, fix problems upon appearance
Computer server node thermal, power and air flow testing
Run FWT test based on requirement
Review test logs and report failures
Compose formal reports of server performance
Track issues and verify provided fixes/solutions as follow-ups
Debug Assistance
Disassemble server nodes, replace components and assemble everything back
Verify newly installed parts function well
Qualification
Required
EE/CE/CS education background
Knowledge on Server/Computer system hardware like CPU/NVME/DIMM/NIC
Knowledge on Server/Computer system firmware like BIOS/BMC/UEFI
Being able to read and modify PowerShell scripts
Preferred
SIT (System Integrate Test) e.g. Power-Cycle test, Stress test, Performance test
Firmware test e.g. BMC, BIOS, Commodity Firmware test
Experience in server thermal and power performance test is a plus
