Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions supporting testing, deployment, and operational workflows
Build and enhance automation frameworks and reusable libraries for enterprise systems
Develop automated scripts and tools supporting functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
Integrate automation into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines to support continuous delivery and validation
Collaborate with developers, test engineers, and system engineers to ensure automation is aligned with system design and requirements
Support defect detection, root cause analysis, and remediation through automation-driven insights
Ensure automation solutions comply with security, safety, and federal compliance requirements
Troubleshoot and optimize automation performance and reliability
Maintain technical documentation, code repositories, and configuration artifacts
Support system readiness reviews, certification activities, and audit preparation
Continuously evaluate and recommend automation tools, frameworks, and best practices
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship Required
Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance
Bachelor's degree and 8 years' experience or Masters degree and 6 years' experience or Associate's degree and 10 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 12 years' experience
Experienced in software development or automation-focused roles
Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar
Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks and reusable components
Hands-on experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Agile or DevSecOps development environments
Preferred
Experience supporting FAA, DOT, or other federal aviation systems
Familiarity with FAA systems, standards, or compliance-driven testing environments
Experience with automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks
Experience with cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF)
Experience supporting system certification, readiness reviews, or operational deployments
