Program Manager, Global Corporate Compliance

Responsibilities
Manages regulatory compliance team, which may consist of compliance subject matter experts and/or regional compliance specialists
Works cross-functionally to develop and ensure implementation of operational regulatory compliance & legal risk management standards globally, with support from the regulatory compliance team and in-house counsel
Working with in-house counsel and compliance specialists, identifies global compliance/legal risk-management requirements and priorities for implementation
Act as an advisor on compliance culture and compliance concerns
Develop and implement global compliance communications and collateral material in print and multimedia forms
Working with VP General Counsel and subject-matter experts, develop and implement appropriate compliance trainings
Conduct investigations into complaints or concerns. Report outcome to the VP General Counsel and/or other leaders as directed
Serve as one of the initial escalation points for compliance questions
Promote integrity and collaborative working relationships in furtherance of Chesterton’s Core Values
Identify opportunities for improvement, elevating them to the VP General Counsel for focus. Implement agreed-upon improvements
Develop and maintain relationships with business functions to ensure Compliance culture is integrated into business practices and appropriate communication channels are used
Identify and elevate potential compliance concerns to the VP General Counsel or other in-house counsel
Qualification
Required
5+ years of corporate operations or compliance experience required
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational processes
Ability to work with highly confidential information
Understanding of and ability to assemble investigatory reports
Strong demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence diverse stakeholders
Global engagement / cross cultural communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing and motivational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong collaboration skills
Strong presentation skills
Experience with or understanding of legal and/or compliance topics
Ability to conduct investigations
Some travel to other offices either within the U.S. or internationally may be required (10%)
Preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing or sales environment desirable
