Responsibilities
Participate in on-site and virtual customer meetings during the pre-sales and delivery phases
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders
Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams on project status, milestones, and risks
Coordinate multiple carrier vendors to ensure services are delivered accurately and on schedule
Manage post-sales requests such as upgrades, moves, adds, and changes, and route them appropriately
Create and maintain internal and customer-facing project plans used as working documents
Track timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
Support Solution Architecture initiatives through defined engineering-related tasks as assigned
Perform directed study and skill development on approved engineering tools and methodologies
Qualification
Required
6 or more years of experience in a customer-facing project management role within the telecommunications industry
Working knowledge of carrier products and services such as Ethernet, MEF, wavelengths, IP, MPLS, SD-WAN, voice, and CPE
Experience managing complex, multi-carrier telecommunications projects
Ability to negotiate timelines and deliverables with internal teams and external vendors
Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office applications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
PMP and ITIL certifications preferred, but not required
