Responsibilities

Focus on digital printing and artwork execution, ensuring the accurate preparation and execution of graphic adaptation for approved creative concepts, specifically for digital printing outputs
Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for digital output as well as other various types of printing, ensuring quality and accuracy
Understand Digital RIP Software for processing print jobs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth workflow integration
Develop and implement printing specifications, workflows, work processes and strategies that focus on digital printing execution tied to end-to-end art, optimizing efficiency and productivity
Conduct color development and leverage knowledge of color profiling and profiling tasks to achieve optimal color accuracy and consistency across various digital print formats
Integrate brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and printing specifications optimally throughout all phases of artwork execution, with particular attention to digital printing processes

Required

BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
At least 2-5 years of full-time design adaptation or graphic production experience (excluding freelance work), preferably within a creative agency, design studio, or in-house creative department, with a focus on consumer packaging and digital printing
A portfolio showcasing production artwork that demonstrates proficiency in both print and digital media, particularly in digital artwork execution
Strong understanding of prepress and print industry standards, including knowledge of the 4/c process and techniques such as spot colors, varnish, foil, die cuts, debossing, and embossing
Comprehensive understanding of print production file standards (bleed, trapping, color separation, dot shapes, screen print angles, FM/Stochastic) and exposure to various paper and plastic substrates
Expertise in digital printing processes, including digital RIP software knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities
Proficient in the latest graphics software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) for Mac

Knowledge of Esko workflows is preferred but not required
