Responsibilities
Analyzing and designing transportation-related structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structure foundations
Prepare reports, studies, plans, specifications, and estimates
Displaying an eagerness to work on a wide variety of project types
Working collaboratively with the CDI Service Leader, Project Engineers, and other team members to develop effective solutions
Ability to conduct field inspection visits while ensuring compliance with CDI’s safety procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Engineer Intern (EI) Licensure
0 -5 years' experience
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or OpenRoads
Preferred
Department of Transportation structures experience (bridges and walls) IDOT preferred
Proficient with structural analysis and design software preferred
