Responsibilities
Communicates effectively across organizational levels and functions
Works under broad general direction with significant autonomy
Independently determines and develops approach to production strategy, problem solving and execution of production plans
Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
Manages a staff of production supervisors leading direct labor personnel including assemblers, technicians, chemical process operators and/or chemists
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field
10+ years manufacturing production experience, preferably in a regulated environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
8-10 years of supervisory/management experience
Familiarity with SAP and other manufacturing materials systems
Solid and effective communication skills
PC skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, database software, internet software, manufacturing software)
Knowledge of and experience with chemical, instrument or facility production processes, and process equipment
