Imagine360 is seeking an 834 EDI Specialist to join the team! The role focuses on managing EDI operations, specifically 834 transactions, and involves collaborating with business and trading partners to ensure smooth EDI processing and implementation.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day EDI operations with a hands-on approach and passion for delivering best-in-class services to internal and external stakeholders
Process and monitor all inbound 834 transactions
Responds timely to inquiries regarding EDI issues and trading partner activities
Troubleshoot 834 file processing errors and work with trading partners and business partners directly to resolve in a timely matter
Effectively communicate issues and needs with internal business partners and trading partners
Create and clearly communicate companion document requirements
Build new data import processes and modify/support existing data import processes based on business, client and trading partner requirements. Formats include but are not limited to + 834 eligibility feeds + Proprietary eligibility feeds
Work with internal and external partners to gather, analyze and document EDI requirements
Provides technical support during and after implementation for 834 files
Analyze the data exchanged with stakeholders to troubleshoot, record, and address errors and implement corrections
Identify risk and failure points with a constant focus on process improvement and automation
Implement process improvements
Coordinate all EDI testing, implementations and upgrades. This includes but is not limited to QA and regression testing to ensure process and data accuracy. Including but not limited to working with end users to ensure user acceptance testing is thorough and complete
Maintain detailed documentation and process flow of all EDI processes
Other duties as assigned

Required

Associate's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
Experience with Gentran (preferred) or other comparable EDI translation/transformation software
Understanding of file transfer protocols including SFTP
Thorough knowledge of the EDI transaction sets, including data elements, segment structure, and coding conventions
Ability to read and understand X12 EDI guides
Experience setting up users/new Trading Partner relationship/Standards/Envelope and full cycle testing
Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to identify data quality issues and ensure accuracy in EDI files
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve technical issues related to EDI file processing for trading partners files
Understanding of IT principles and business processes with an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
Ability to ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations
Detail oriented with a problem-solving attitude
Demonstrated ability to lead successful implementations
Ability to find creative solutions to technology challenges
Strong ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Ability to work with remote teams including working closely with business professionals as well as technical resources and acting as a bridge between the two groups including liaison with trading partners
Possess excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
Demonstrates ability to work independently, take initiative and be self-motivated
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to make effective and accurate decisions under pressure and work in fast paced environment
Demonstrated ability to treat confidential information with discretion
Knowledge of healthcare industry
