Responsibilities
Responsible for all accounting and controls associated with a growing business that expects to generate more than $B in annual revenues
Manage the monthly closing process
Oversee Business Unit cash and banking activities, including collections, disbursements, and cash forecasting
Oversight of compiling and reporting financial information to the parent entity throughout the financial close cycles
Establish and manage monthly monitoring of critical internal control activities
Technical accounting considerations, including revenue recognition, accounting for unapproved change orders and claims, and other relevant GAAP standards
Provide critical financial and operational information to executive management
Qualification
Required
15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within the construction industry
Deep expertise in WIP reporting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
Strategic and tactical ability to push new initiatives forward
Ability to lead a high performing team within the finance organization
BA degree in Finance or Accounting
10+ years construction operations experience
Demonstrated hands-on approach
Ability to work in a complex fast-paced environment with many moving parts
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Ability to manage a large team
Must be able to work onsite in Menlo Park, CA
