Responsibilities
Sets up and operates machine following established procedures and policies
Ensures machinery operates efficiently and effectively to meet productivity requirements
Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies as needed
Inspects material and finished goods for defects
Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jack, hoists, conveyors, or handling equipment to move material to and from delivery transportation vehicles and within warehouse or storage facility
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment while ensuring housekeeping duties are completed as required
Follows all safety policies and procedures
Performs daily inspections prior to beginning operations
Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required with a minimum of 6 months of manufacturing / industrial experience
Strong work ethic with a proven ability to support a positive team environment
Excellent attention to detail, a focus on accuracy, and a sense of urgency
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Capable of standing/sitting/walking 8 to 10 hrs per day in a manufacturing environment and comfortably lifting up to 20 pounds frequently
Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)
Preferred
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field preferred; extensive knowledge/experience preferred
