Responsibilities
Capture, define, and implement key customer requirements
Define and meet deadlines for product development
Ensure products are high quality and meet all industry standards
Ensure products are reliable and user friendly
Team player with a positive, professional and proactive attitude
Apply a methodical and detail-oriented approach to tasks
Follow all company procedures, processes and policies
Develop and/or update product specifications and technical documentation
Provide guidance on the development and updates of product support materials
Lead the development and implementation of new products
Drive improvements for existing products through structured problem-solving
Provide support and training to the internal teams
Deliver engineering assistance to sales, customer service, production, and procurement teams
Propose and support process improvements
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Develop and/or update product specifications and technical documentation
Provide guidance on the development and updates of product support materials
Lead the development and implementation of new products
Requires onsite travel to North American customer locations ~5-10% of time
Drive improvements for existing products through structured problem-solving
Provide support and training to the internal teams
Deliver engineering assistance to sales, customer service, production, and procurement teams
Propose and support process improvements
Perform additional duties as assigned
