Responsibilities

Knowledge of multiple areas of the code base
Proactively identifies potential problems
Owns a functional area
Capable of prioritizing tasks; avoids getting caught up in unimportant details
Gives higher-level status updates
Demonstrated ability to collaborate well across teams
A high level of craftsmanship about their work and the end experience of the user
Is responsible for design, but still does so under guidance
Performed work that was evaluated to be done at ‘high quality’ by peers
Managing their own priorities in achieving assigned engineering tasks
Primarily working from higher level specs, rather than tightly scope subtasks
Proposes solutions when articulating problems
Set and maintain high individual and team expectations
Actively participate in frequent code/design/architecture reviews
Own and complete full projects beginning with identifying and communicating the problems to be solved, getting and incorporating feedback on proposed architectural solutions, and making a final decision as the owner of a functional area

Experience with AWS, Cloudformation, and Docker
