Responsibilities

Assist the Engineering team with day-to-day development work
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and other teams
Participate in daily stand-ups and share meaningful progress updates
Contribute to an internal-facing engineering project from concept through completion
Write, test, and improve code using Python and/or TypeScript
Participate in the code review process to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability
Learn about the advertising technology ecosystem and modern software engineering practices
Develop features and enhancements under the guidance of senior engineers
Debug issues and help improve existing systems and workflows
Apply programming fundamentals and software development lifecycle concepts
Use Git and version control best practices to collaborate on code
Communicate effectively with teammates in a fast-paced Agile environment
Take ownership of assigned tasks while learning to work independently

Required

Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python or TypeScript
Familiarity with core programming concepts and the software development lifecycle
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Passion for innovation, learning new technologies, and hands-on development
Ability to work on-site in the Philadelphia office at least three days per week
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Preferred

Experience building open-source projects or GitHub repositories is a strong plus
Previous internship or work experience in an engineering role is preferred but not required

Benefits

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
