Responsibilities

Guide Marketing in new product briefs and conception definitions to ensure design to Agility / Profitability / L’Oreal For the Future (L4TF)
Develop and manage project timelines, identifying the key tasks and milestones and minimizing areas of risk to ensure on-time launches in compliance with the L’Oreal Quality system
Drive risk assessment with cross-functional partners within Operations and Research and Innovation (R&I) to create and track mitigation plans and secure approval of sound, technical backup options to maintain project timelines
Support the presentation of project updates and contribute to risk escalation strategies to leadership teams
Lead project review meetings and drive resolution of roadblocks impacting projects
Manage key evolutions to the brand catalogue
Partner with Marketing, Operations and R&I on harmonization, profitability, and sustainability initiatives. Coordinate the implementation of all required legal and regulatory updates to base catalog formula and packaging
Aesthetic approvals with Marketing with a Consumer Experience mindset
Perform other duties as necessary or required

Required

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in package/product development and project management
Must be collaborative and able to create strong relationships with all cross-functional teams
Proficient written and verbal communication skills to be able to influence effectively with all levels of our organization internally and externally
Good organizational skills to manage the documentation, and dissemination of information as needed on each project
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solving mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business or a related discipline
Experience in the cosmetics or consumer goods industry is highly preferred
Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends and technologies in global markets
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Project, Teams)
Understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and industrialization
Travel to manufacturing facilities will be a requirement (10-15% of time)
Ability to work onsite in the El Segundo office per the company's hybrid policy
