Electrical Engineer (Electronic Warfare)-Junior

They are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation by applying engineering principles, troubleshooting, and developing electronic warfare systems.

Responsibilities
Serves as a part of the team for software integration within the Next-Generation Electronic Warfare Environment Generator Management Office
Applies engineering principles to the complete system lifecycle (research, requirements definition, design, development, implementation, testing and analysis for complex integrated hardware system environment)
Works in both laboratory and field environments developing solutions to complex technical challenges and providing expertise on system design, integration and performance
Interfaces and shadows senior engineers to receive training, guidance and learn to develop system integration skills
Builds, sets up, operates, calibrates and maintains test equipment and prototypes
Provides technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the lab, with test equipment and systems under test
Designs, develops, implements and evaluates EW systems, subsystems and components
Develops and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and analysis scripts for system evaluation/verification
Works in anechoic chambers and on flight test ranges to conduct laboratory and field testing
Analyzes test data to assess system performance, author detailed technical reports, and create data visualizations to present findings
Develops support tools and scenarios for building/simulating RF emitters and complex Radio Frequency (RF) environments
Performs system integration, configuration management and quality assurance testing
Qualification
Required
BA/BS Degree in a relevant field with 3 years or less of relevant professional experience OR AS/AA Degree in a relevant field with 2 years of recent and relevant professional experience OR HS Diploma or equivalent with completed military service in a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOSC)-Relevant college or internship experience accepted as years of experience
Experience with the development, testing or operations of Electronic Warfare/Avionics/Radar systems
Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) engineering or signal processing and analysis
Experience investigating issues and problem-solving in hardware systems
The ability to obtain and maintain SAP and/or SCI access as required
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance-AMEWAS willing to obtain and process full clearance
Preferred
Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, C++ or Java
Experience with the full systems engineering lifecycle from design, synthesis to analysis and implementation
Experience with EW jammers, phased array radar or Unmanned Air Systems (UAS)
Experience with the DoD acquisition and resource management processes
