Responsibilities
Designing and implementing microservice roles, responsibilities, and interactions within NavOps, ensuring scalability and resilience
Staying ahead of microservice patterns, including event-driven architectures, and implementing best practices
Defining and implementing a developer-friendly software documentation strategy, leveraging automation and best practices
Designing and implementing robust unit, contract, integration and end-to-end testing strategies
Defining and prioritizing development tasks, ensuring seamless alignment with business and technical goals
Playing a critical role in advancing core libraries and features within the NavOps platform
Maintaining and evolving technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for developers
Overseeing continuous integration pipelines to enhance software quality and development efficiency
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Go (Python is a plus), with hands-on experience in microservices development
Proven expertise with Linux-based operating systems, including command-line usage and shell scripting
Expertise in using and developing container-based applications (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Expertise in event-driven architectures and cloud-native development
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
Strong documentation skills, with experience in 'Documentation-As-Code' practices
Preferred
High Performance Computing (HPC) knowledge/experience is desirable
