Responsibilities
Following and implementing the SOP for QA/QC
Working with the facility personnel to ensure that waste received meets the approved profile
Document all discrepancies and communicate with CES Material Compliance to resolve problems
Facilitate a solution-oriented approach to discrepancy resolution and long term compliance
Identify and catalog waste processing issues and develop strategic long term solutions with customer centric approach working closely with CES Material Compliance
This position will be tipping floor lead
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of experience in the waste industry or related field
Technical experience in materials management and or logistics
Experience implementing and modifying SOP's
OSHA Training or related safety training
Computer competency a must
Hs Diploma/GED is required
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry it a distance of 50 yards
HAZWOPER training, RCRA boot camp or related training must be completed within one year of hire
Must possess good mechanical aptitude
Must have the ability to operate forklifts, front-end loaders, street sweeper, automated feed system, yard tractor and other equipment as needed
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must be respirator fit tested and able to work wearing a respirator
Preferred
Customer Service related experience a plus
BS or BA in Environmental Science, Chemistry or Biology a plus
Second Site-Specific Mobile Equipment Trainer
