Human Services Program Specialist
NEOGOV is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Services Program Specialist to join the Department of Human Services. In this role, you will manage contracts, budgets, and financial documents while supporting the Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP) through budgetary data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities
Manage special projects
Monitor the status of program contracts
Track operating budgets and invoice payments to ensure accurate, timely reporting
Develop a strong understanding of the Commonwealth’s budget process
Develop in-depth knowledge of the OMAP and its information technology infrastructure
Perform analysis, planning, evaluation, and contract oversight
Collaborate regularly with Commonwealth budget personnel, vendor financial representatives, and OMAP staff
Develop and use electronic tools, such as reporting and analytical applications, to effectively support these functions
Qualification
Required
One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment
Acceptance of a conditional offer of employment will require submission to and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to: a fingerprint-based federal records check; a PA State Police clearance; a check of local law enforcement agencies where you have lived, worked, and/or attended school within the last five (5) years; and a citizenship/residency verification
