Responsibilities

You will maintain oversight of all joint, multinational, and integrated exercises and TSC activities, assist exercise action officers, support JTF Certification as needed, and provide executive briefs to the Commander USINDOPACOM to resolve issues
You will manage the execution of joint and multinational training programs per the JTP and budget, reallocating branch resources as needed to meet evolving requirements
You will supervise, oversee, and coordinate the activities of the TSC Exercises and Multinational Programs Branch within the Exercise Division
You will review, coordinate, and monitor higher-level directives, policies, and doctrine related to multinational and integrated training requirements, planning, execution, and assessment
You will oversee the preparation and delivery of documentation and briefings on joint and multinational training plans, events, and Area of Responsibility (AOR) visits by the Commander or staff to USINDOPACOM and higher headquarters

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
This is a Mission Essential position
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as: 1) Provide subject matter expertise in joint, multinational, and integrated operations training while coordinating related program efforts; 2) Review, coordinate, and monitor higher-level directives, policies, and doctrine related to multinational and integrated training requirements, planning, execution, and assessment; 3) Oversee the preparation and delivery of documentation and briefings on joint and multinational training plans, events, and Area of Responsibility (AOR) visits by the Commander or staff to USINDOPACOM and higher headquarters; 4) Manage the execution of joint and multinational training programs per the JTP and budget, reallocating branch resources as needed to meet evolving requirements; and 5) Supervise, oversee, and coordinate the activities of the TSC Exercises and Multinational Programs Branch within the Exercise Division

Benefits

Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
