Responsibilities
Design of the latest combustion hardware contributing to the decarbonization goals of Siemens Energy
Developing the latest combustion system using the latest manufacturing techniques both conventional and additive
Communicate and work optimally with manufacturing and service engineering colleagues on process improvements and new product development and introduction
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals in Machine design
Mechanical design/analysis experience with components for turbo-machinery applications or similar applications
Ability to create complex drawings and specifications, including a solid understanding of GD&T
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and any other test(s) required for the role
Preferred
MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in design of mechanical components more than 5 years
Experience with Siemens NX CAD, ANSYS, Teamcenter & SAP
