Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Studio Director and design team on programming, design development, decoration, and planning
Produce plans, elevations, and custom furniture drawings in AutoCAD
Manage FF&E sourcing, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement
Create and maintain detailed FF&E specification schedules and project documentation
Prepare client presentations, proposals, and design packages
Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and fabricators
Track project status, follow up on action items, and ensure design quality and accuracy
Take the lead on smaller projects and project-manage larger, complex projects
Interface directly with high-profile clients with discretion and professionalism
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture
8–12 years of experience in a high-end residential interior design firm
Proven experience managing full-cycle, complex residential projects
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Deep understanding of materials, fabrics, millwork, custom furnishings, and specifications
Extensive familiarity with San Francisco design trade resources and showrooms
Ability to work under deadlines in a busy, creative environment
Valid driver's license and access to a car (or car share)
Preferred
Knowledge of NYC, LA, and European sources
