Responsibilities
Design, construct, test, and implement infrastructure components to meet project and service requirements
Participate in technical design and construction activities to understand requirements and assess infrastructure impact
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues impacting infrastructure and application performance
Monitor system capacity, performance, and operational health
Build, maintain, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing exercises
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote reuse and develop consistent build, implementation, and support processes
Participate in platform, application, and infrastructure lifecycle management, including total cost of ownership considerations
Develop design specifications and implement new hardware or infrastructure components according to requirements and standards
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on existing platforms and infrastructure
Stay current with emerging technologies and capabilities related to supported platforms
Work closely with Project Managers to resolve requirement gaps discovered during design or implementation
Create, maintain, and share up-to-date technical documentation
Adhere to change management and incident management standards and expectations
Qualification
Required
Inventory management and technical operations support experience
Low voltage troubleshooting and maintenance
PC troubleshooting, repair, and hardware support
Server installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance
5–7 years of total professional work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
