Responsibilities

Work directly with customers to develop CONOPS, system architectures, and requirements, manage qualification, verification, and validation efforts
Analyze system functions and physical architectures, allocate requirements across subsystems, and support design decision-making through structured trade studies within a formal systems engineering environment
Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root-cause and corrective-action processes, using advanced lab or field test equipment
Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal and external stakeholders
Maintain engineering specifications (DS, ARD, etc.) and drawings (schematics and assembly drawings)
Provide technical guidance and support to Engineering IPTLs
Attend team meetings, teleconferences, and working group sessions as required
Coordinate and support sustainment efforts, managing depot returns and repair activities

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Experience diagnosing and resolving electronic-related issues using standard commercial test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers)
Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB, and Python to analyze system data, automate workflows, and support engineering decision making across the project lifecycle
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience with or exposure to various military weapons-conveyance platforms, such as ships, ground combat systems, and fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft
Electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communication protocols
Experience reading software routines and integrating them with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferred
Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including applying scripting or automation for data collection and analysis
Use of tools such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB, or Python for data analysis and automation
