Responsibilities
Performs mechanical repairs on faucets, sinks, showers, tubs, and various items associated with maintenance
Understands and follows instructions provided from leadership
Understands and has some knowledge of blue print drawings to perform special task
Demonstrates understands and applies, OSHA, NFPA, requirements as well as GHS Corporate Compliance Policies and Procedures, DHR and JACHO standards
Understands and follows written and oral instructions
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Carpentry Trade required or equivalent level of education or experience
Has some knowledge of building fire walls, smoke compartments, and other structural related compartments
Performs mechanical repairs on faucets, sinks, showers, tubs, and various items associated with maintenance. Understands and follows instructions provided from leadership
Understands and has some knowledge of blue print drawings to perform special task
Demonstrates understands and applies, OSHA, NFPA, requirements as well as GHS Corporate Compliance Policies and Procedures, DHR and JACHO standards
Understands and follows written and oral instructions
Consistent with teamwork and other values associated in the Health System
Preferred
At least (1) one year of hospital experience in engineering (mechanical, carpentry, and painting) preferred
