Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize Linux kernel subsystems and device drivers for next-generation server System on Chips (SoCs)
Perform hardware bring-up and validation using prototypes, specialized equipment, and lab setups
Debug complex kernel and firmware interactions to ensure performance, reliability, and stability
Collaborate closely with silicon design teams, hardware engineers, and firmware developers to define and support new hardware features
Develop test plans, run kernel validation suites, and analyze results to identify and resolve defects
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience (5+ years) with Linux kernel subsystem development, including memory management, I/O, networking, or scheduling
5+ years of experience and proficiency in Linux device driver development, debugging, and optimization
Experience working with SoC server-class architectures such as ARM or x86
Strong understanding of OS internals, hardware–software interaction, and low-level debugging tools like ftrace, perf, kmemleak, or kgdb
Ability to work onsite with lab hardware, prototypes, and interact with firmware/bootloaders
