Responsibilities
Enter customer orders into the computer system
Schedule appointments and communicate with shippers and receivers
Assist with day-to-day operational needs
Set up carriers as needed
Assist with billing responsibilities as training progresses
Qualification
Required
Strong communication, phone etiquette, and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Experience in administrative assistance, including handling office documentation and providing general support
Basic accounting skills to assist with clerical financial tasks and record management
Proficiency with office tools and software, including word processing and spreadsheets
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload effectively, and maintain a high degree of attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
associate degree or higher is preferred
