Responsibilities
Working with the associate editor, manage the editorial review process for unsolicited articles
Edit articles published in the monthly issue, supplements, and online
Manage the editorial calendar for Microwave Journal issues and help recruit invited articles
Manage the editorial review process for unsolicited articles
Coordinate the editorial priorities of the Associate Technical Editor
Write content for the publication (e.g., Fabs and Labs), website (e.g., executive interviews and blog posts) and other products (e.g., eBooks)
Produce video and podcast interviews and support the Frequency Matters video series
Moderate Microwave Journal, online panels/summits, and client-sponsored webinars
Attend and report on industry conferences (e.g., write summaries and do video interviews)
Work with the Microwave Journal editorial team to support the publishing process and overall goals for the magazine and online content
Maintain a social media presence on LinkedIn and Twitter to promote Microwave Journal articles and events
Qualification
Required
Technical expertise in the high frequency design, test or modeling and industry jargon
Commitment to promoting high-quality educational content within the engineering community
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal/writing skills
Bachelor's degree in electronic design or similar
At least 5 years in the high frequency electronics field
