Applications Engineer (Electronic Controls)
Jobot is a privately-held global leader in manufacturing, seeking an Applications Engineer to support electronic controls and sensor solutions in the Southern U.S. This role involves application engineering blended with business development, focusing on growing electronic product adoption and assisting customers in mobile and industrial fluid power markets.

Responsibilities
Serve as technical liaison between Sales, Engineering, Operations, and customers
Provide application support for electronic controls, sensors, and system electronics
Lead technical efforts in targeted accounts to grow electronic product sales
Review customer requirements, specs, and inquiries; translate into application or project needs
Support customer design reviews and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams
Assist customers in applying and implementing electronic controls products
Identify key applications and opportunities within the region for new business
Share customer feedback and market needs with product teams
Train sales teams on new products and solution strategies
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in engineering at minimum (BSEE or Computer Science preferred)
Experience applying or selling electronic products in industrial or mobile markets
Understanding of electronic controls, system architecture, and related technologies
Ability to travel up to 40%
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Preferred
Experience with electronic controls programming
Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and system requirements
Self-starter capable of managing projects and customer interactions independently
