Customs Analyst

Zobility is RGBSI's workforce management and staffing division, and they are seeking a Customs Analyst. The role involves analyzing bills of materials for free trade agreement applicability and coordinating with supply chain on USMCA certificates from suppliers.

Responsibilities

Extract and analyze bills of materials for free trade agreement applicability
Apply USMCA rules to determine qualification status
Follow internal work instructions governing free trade agreement analysis and qualification
Coordinate with supply chain on solicitation of USMCA certificates from suppliers
Review of supplier provided USMCA certificates
Analyze historical customs broker entry data to determine where post-entry claims should be made
Support post-entry filings, including FTA reconciliation, post-summary corrections and duty drawback
Support other duty mitigation programs as needed

Required

Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to analyze data and apply customs requirements to data sets
Strong attention to detail
1-2+ years experience in data analysis, customs or logistics
General Customs Experience (Canada exp would be a PLUS)
HS Diploma/GED required plus 3+ years experience

Preferred

Prior customs experience
Prior experience with free trade agreement analysis
Prior experience with SAP
