Responsibilities
Lead functional and technical support for Oracle EBS Accounts Payable, including configuration, issue resolution, and continuous optimization
Act as the primary SME for the P2P workstream
Manage and maintain Supplier/Vendor Master Data
Ensure alignment with General Ledger (GL) Chart of Accounts and accounting structures
Design, develop, and manage inbound and outbound integrations using REST APIs via Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG)
Integrate EBS with third-party SaaS and on-premise systems
Perform complex data analysis and reporting using SQL against core AP and GL tables
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis across functional and technical layers
Document and optimize end-to-end invoice processing workflows, including:
Invoice entry/import
Validation
Approval workflows
Payment processing
Translate business requirements from Finance and Procurement teams into technical specifications
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of techno-functional experience in Oracle EBS R12
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
At least two full-lifecycle implementations or major upgrades involving third-party integrations (e.g., Concur, Coupa, banking portals)
Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Payables (AP)
Strong functional knowledge of Purchasing (PO)
Strong functional knowledge of General Ledger (GL)
Advanced SQL / PL-SQL skills
Hands-on experience with key Oracle tables, including AP_INVOICES_ALL, AP_INVOICE_LINES_ALL, AP_SUPPLIERS, AP_SUPPLIER_SITES_ALL, GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS, GL_JE_HEADERS, GL_JE_LINES
Proven experience with RESTful web services
Strong knowledge of Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG)
Solid understanding of GL chart field segments
Solid understanding of cross-validation rules
Solid understanding of Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of database administration concepts and data management methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Consulting experience is highly desirable
Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
