Responsibilities
Manage the helpdesk operations, financial reconciliation, and provide ongoing support to ensure system integrity
Lead efforts in overpayment policy development, process optimization, and compliance enforcement to maintain alignment with regulatory and organizational standards
Drive root cause analysis and resolution for overpayments
Responsible for internal validation and collection of claim overpayments from claim rework referrals and internal datamining efforts
Manage provider, member, and supplier refund reconciliation, ensuring the claim systems are updated to maintain financial accuracy
Deliver actionable reporting and analytics, and advance business process automation and technical support to streamline operations and enhance decision-making capabilities
Identify and size potential savings opportunities by analyzing complex data sets across multiple systems
Validate issue resolution and monitor outcomes to ensure accuracy and sustained impact
Qualification
Required
Meet Educational requirements (see Education section) and/or 0-2 of work experience
Able to work out of the Hartford, CT office
SQL or Python
Analytical Thinking
Bachelor's or equivalent experience required, 2-5 years experience, anticipated completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree program by start date (June 2026)
Have a major in one of the following fields: business, management, healthcare management, finance/accounting, economics, public health, health sciences, leadership studies, marketing, human resources, communications, psychology, or sociology
