Maintenance Engineer - Sauk Rapids Campus

The Good Shepherd Community is seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Engineer to join their Environmental Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including HVAC system checks, boiler maintenance, and landscaping duties.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all HVAC systems are operating properly and efficiently
Maintain boiler and conduct daily/weekly boiler checks
Complete repairs promptly and efficiently
Paint, patch and repair walls as needed
Ensure that the exterior of the building and windows are properly maintained
Perform lawn care and landscaping tasks
Conduct snow removal for parking lots and walkways as required
Ensure that facilities are in compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards (OSHA, Life Safety Codes, etc.)

Minnesota 2nd Class licenseHVAC systems maintenancePlumbing knowledgeMechanical repairsLight electrical repairsCarpentryPainting

Required

Current Minnesota 2nd Class (C) engineer's license OR special engineer's licenses with continued employment contingent upon obtaining a Minnesota 2nd Class license within 13 months of employment
General knowledge of plumbing, surface preparation for concrete, painting, carpentry, woodwork, mechanical repairs, refrigeration, pneumatics and light electrical repairs
Must live within a 30-minute response time to the Sauk Rapids Good Shepherd campus
Must have a current, valid driver's license with no driving violations within the standard of Good Shepherd's insurability program
