Responsibilities
Partner with engineers and designers to develop software for avionics platforms such as terrain-warning systems, data-communication modules, and landing-performance tools
Build, refine, and test reliable, efficient embedded software that meets strict performance criteria
Translate system-level requirements into detailed software specifications
Contribute to integration activities, ensuring smooth interaction with hardware, sensors, and other software components
Write well-structured code and maintain high development standards
Assist in designing and maintaining development and verification tools
Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate modern practices into the workflow
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, technology, or a related technical discipline
5–7+ years of hands-on experience developing embedded software
Strong proficiency in industry-standard programming languages such as C++ or Python
Preferred
Prior work in real-time or embedded systems
Experience with aerospace, autonomous systems, or other regulated/safety-critical software environments
Familiarity with RTOS platforms
Knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, or similar version-control tools
Exposure to requirements management tools such as DOORS
Understanding of software certification and lifecycle processes
Background in algorithm development or data analytics
Awareness of aviation industry standards (e.g., ARINC, RTCA)
