Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Quality Standards: Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures
Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, parts, or finished products
Quality Audits: Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance
Team Management: Manage and lead a team providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Process Improvement: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance quality and efficiency
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, and corrective actions
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to address underlying problems
Continuous Monitoring: Implement systems for continuous monitoring of quality metrics and key performance indicators, providing regular reports
Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to quality control standards and procedures
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to implement improvements
Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and improvements
Quality Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of quality consciousness throughout the organization
Communication: Communicate quality objectives, issues, and improvements effectively to all relevant stakeholders
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as quality management, engineering, industrial management, or a related discipline is required
At least 7 years of experience in quality management, quality control, or a related role within a manufacturing environment
Proven experience in leading and managing a quality control team
AS9100 Auditor Experience required
