Responsibilities
This position assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, printers, phones, and related technology
Support includes installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines
Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems
Qualification
Required
1 – 3 years' experience in a hospital or physician practice setting
5 – 7 years' experience within an IT department or IT function
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows OS and Server, troubleshooting IT issues, computer maintenance, and other IT concerns or issues
Ability to multitask, can work in a fast-paced clinical environment, can engage patients, peers, and supervisors in a dedicated, comforting, respectful, and effective way, and has the ability to adapt to change
Preferred
Associates degree, High School Diploma, or GED
Higher education may be substituted for experience
