The role involves supporting the operationalization of Microsoft Purview across the enterprise and executing day-to-day task-based work assigned by the Data Governance leadership team.

Responsibilities
Work directly within Microsoft Purview (Data Map & Unified Catalog) to:
Register data sources
Configure and run scans
Classify data assets
Support cataloging efforts for 1,200+ data sources across Azure environments
Execute day-to-day task-based work assigned by the Data Governance leadership team
Collaborate with existing analysts within Data Compliance and broader Cyber teams
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in data governance, data engineering, cybersecurity, or related technical discipline
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and Unified Catalog
Experience working with cloud-based data sources, preferably Azure
Ability to perform detail-oriented, repetitive, task-driven work with high accuracy
Strong technical curiosity and willingness to grow into a larger governance engineering role
Preferred
Prior experience cataloging or classifying enterprise data
Exposure to compliance functions, data lifecycle management, or cloud security
Background supporting data governance programs in healthcare or regulated industries
