They are seeking a motivated Legal Staff Assistant to provide administrative support, manage office communications, and assist with court filings in a professional environment.

Responsibilities
Answer telephone and direct calls
Greet office visitors
Maintain a neat and professional reception area
Prepare conference rooms for meetings
Receive and sort mail deliveries
E-file court filings in both State and Federal court, in this and other jurisdictions
Open new matters / process matters for closing
Provide general secretarial, administrative and clerical support as needed
Copy, scan and print requests
Qualification
Required
Must have a minimum 1-year of experience in a law firm setting or professional office setting
Strong communication skills; verbal and written
Highly dependable and able to work well in a team environment assisting other staff and attorneys as needed
Good typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Open to taking on new responsibilities and challenging tasks
Must be well organized
Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands daily
Must have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong ability to prioritize
Preferred
Familiarity with legal documents and litigation procedures is a plus
