Junior Investment Analyst (M&A + Public Markets)

NorthStrive Companies Inc. is seeking a Junior Investment Analyst to support private and public market acquisitions and public company research. The role involves sourcing and evaluating acquisition targets, performing financial analysis, and communicating with senior leadership and industry professionals.

Responsibilities

Source and evaluate private and public acquisition targets
Perform financial statement analysis (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
Build and maintain financial models (3-statement, valuation, scenario analysis)
Develop investment theses and concise internal memos
Research public companies for large equity positions and monitor catalysts
Support conference strategy, executive meetings, and follow-ups
Communicate directly with CEOs, investment bankers, and sell-side analysts

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
1+ year of full-time experience at an investment firm, bank, advisory, consulting, or comparable analytical role
Prior internship experience in finance, investing, banking, consulting, or related field
Strong financial statement literacy and ability to analyze company fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to build and interpret financial models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and initiative

Preferred

Investment banking, equity research, buy-side, corp dev, or transaction-focused roles
Exposure to small/micro-cap public companies and special situations
Conference attendance and relationship-driven research
